Hey I recently got a used fluval 305 canister filter. It was used on the saltwater tank so it has like little crustaceans or little things growing inside the filter. I tried to scrape off as many as I could but there still seems to be some there and on the media. Would it still be safe to use in a freshwater tank? I washed all the media. Also it didn't come with an intake pipe so I used an intake pipe from the sun sun canister filter so it can't automatically prime with the little prime lever do you have any other ideas for an intake tube? Thanks
