Canister Filters

Has anyone set up 2 canister filters, using one as a bio filter only?
Thanks for the advice!!

You would still want some mechanical in the mainly biomedia one just to prevent the biomedia from trapping lots of debris, clogging up, and becoming useless as a biofilter.
