It probably was a 303. The design was signitficantly better than the previous one. Better all around. I know they were both the 300 series. Thing is I loved what Fluval did with the new design (304). I went with the Eheim Ecco because it was similar though the priming for the Ecco seems to be a little easier. Just wish the Fluval would have lasted longer. Too expensive to replace it every two-three years.

I run one of the Eheim thermofilters mentioned earlier in this thread, the 2126. I have found the filter to be dead quiet, easy to clean and simple to prime. The heater is also spot on!
It is a great piece of equipment and well worth the price I paid for it. Mike |
