centipede diffuser???

We have a Tenecor 150 gallon freshwater tank with a Little Giant water pump with a sump filter and two Centipede. It seems that the fish are always "working"..."swimming upstream" against the current.

SHould there be a centiped "diffuser" to lessen the "garden hose" effect and still not lessen the output of gallons per hour? Or do we want this water turn over ?

What kind of fish do you have?? Some stream fishes will love the current while others will like it more still.
