Can anyone suggest a cheap LED alternative for a 90 gallon reef with SPS / LPS?

I currently have an 8 X 54 nova extreme pro T5 fixture.

2 Taotronic 120w led fixture. About $350 for both

Has anyone tried this and can confirm that it works? I'ld hate to spend the money and end up with some loud lights.

New to all of this. But I've read the whole thread up to this point. Going to set up a 75 gal cichlid tank. Not sure if I'm going to go planted or not. Would 3 10w that put out 6500k-7000k be enough. And if I don't go planted, suggestions?

I just ordered two of the 10w floodlights for my 20H planted tank. Worth a shot. I may only need one but in case it's not enough I got a second.

I just got them in (2x10w LED daylight floodlights) and installed them both over my 20 gallon planted tank. They're dim looking, at least to my eyes. I won't be able to say if they actually grow my plants for a while but they'll definitely get their chance to prove themselves. Here's hoping.

Thats why I told rob_ stl that he should get 20's and not the 10's because I didn't think they would supply enough light

I can always use one on my 5.5 gallon quarantine tank and get a 20w to replace one on the 20 gallon. I totally agree with you on using a 20w instead of the 10w for plants. That was good advice. I'll follow it and order the 20w tonight. Thanks tonedogz.

Anybody here have anemones with these lights?

I have 7 50s set up but it just doesn't seem bright enough.

Will post up some pics and get opinions.

Might have to get 100s

the spectrum seems too blue to me.

There's a pic of my foxface sleeping. He was motionless and blotchy, he's a bit of a creeper at night.
