Chiller

Does anyone here know about chillers cuz mine runs but it's not cooling at all my tank is always at 80-81 and I can't get it down please help if u can. Thanks

Set the chiller lower and see if that makes a difference.

Did that and nothing I have it set at 72 and it's not making any difference

Make sure it rated for the amount of gallon of water you have sump and everything and run it at the reccomended flow rate

The chiller is a arctica 1/10 hp and I have a 34 gallon red sea max and it's about a year old and I bought it used off of the owner o my lfs but I can't get in contact with him cuz he's on vacation till Sunday

Can you check to see if it's pushing our cold water. If not, then it might need a recharge. If it is, then is underpowered. A 1/10 hp should be plenty to cool your tank. I would guess its simply not working.

I had that chiller for my old red sea max, it only lasted a year.

Took it to an a/c guy at my work, no way to repair. He said just buy another.
