I have a 29 gal and I was wondering what size circulation pump to buy or if I should get more than one?

Complex pumping system?

What type of pump should I use for a complex pumping system. I bought a marineland pump, not enough power.

Let me try to explain in words.

Pump will remain outside of any tank.

Pump will have to pull water up about 4 feet from a 5 gallon water jug. Then pumps into a 30 gallon tank for buffering.

When not pumping from the 5 gallon water jug, will be pumped from within the 30 gallon tank.

Then a 3 way switch on the output will be switched between 3 tanks for water changing refills.

Does anyone have a system like this? What pump do you use?
