Cleaning?

So... When cleaning with water and vinegar do you just pour water in and vinegar at the same time and let it sit in there for a while or what? I'm trying to get some old algae spots off that are REALLY tough.. INSANELY tough. lol

I use vinegar straight with a scrubbie pad, then rinse with water.

I use a razor blade scraper. They are 3 dollar at hardware stores. This takes the coralline and green allege of with very little effort.
