I am starting to move stuff over to my new 180g tank and when I took out the probes for my controller they were covered in hard stuff and pineapple sponges. lol What can i soak them in and not damage the probe part? Would vinegar be ok or will it throw off the probe? The probes are pH and temperature if that matters.

Thanks! Let me know as soon as you guys can, I am in the middle of the equipment transfer and hooking up all the wires and electrical stuff.

:)

So, 33 people have checked out this thread but no one knows? LOL

I am thinking I will soak in a light vinegar solution. The good news is the aipastias that were all over it have melted and dried up. lol :)
