Colored gels

Has anyone tried to use colored gels for their tank lighting ,I've been using it and it seem to worked well for my tank

I never thought about it, but I like the idea. Where do you get them? I haven't seen light gels since my theater days back in high school. Gotta say it sounds a lot more appealing to wrap them around fluorescents than climbing a 50 foot ladder to put them on stage lights...

Lol yeah you brave to do that , but I get them from a friend who gets them online and I like it alot cause i can change the color anytime cheaply ,but when you get them you have to make a personal judgement of how dark or light you want the color so u might have to stack 4-5 gels on top of each other
