Connecting MH to ballast

Hi all, I just got my first MH pendant, ballast and bulb. I'm trying to put it together, so I can hand it and place my tank under. I seem to be missing something, or i'm having a dummy attack. This is what I have now, and the plugs don't seem to match up.

First is a Lumen bright, 250w pendant...

And now for the Galaxy electronic ballast...

Obviously those wires don't fit that harness. Seems like I need a male adapter to connect to the female plug on the ballast. Please help...

PIcs are small, but best I can tell is you're right, you're missing the other end of the plug.

2 options I guess. Find/buy the other half of the plug, or you can cut off the plug you have and wire in a new one from a local HW store

Wow your DIY is vey nice and has alot of good diagrams and instructions. I'm pretty handy when it comes to electrical work, but since I just bought this ballast last week, I decided just to order the pigtail and take the easy way out. I still think I got gipped, and it should have been in the ballast box. When I called up customer support, they told me they are only compatible with Galaxy pendants.

Hopefully on wednesday I get the pigtail, that way I can post all my work and my new tank I set up.
