Considering a large used acrylic tank? Worth the work?

I have a lead on a 72 x 24 x 24 acrylic tank. Formerly housed fish and presently has a reptile in it but they tell me it holds water. Seller is asking $150 and includes a stand. I haven't seen it in person yet but the owner says it does have a few scratches. Price seems really good but I'm wondering if it will be worth the clean up and scratch repair? Any thoughts?

Seems good. I would take a look at it. If it seems good then definitely get it! If you do get it make sure you hose it down with vinegar and water. Reptiles are messy.
