Second that, having your electrical contractor do the install is the way to go properly. An improper set up can damage equipment at best, kill someone at worst

It really isn't that hard though. I would still advise that you have a contractor double check before you use it.

So the good power inverters don't just plug into the cigarette lighter jack? Where do they normally hook up?
