Coralife 48" Lunar Aqualight 260 Watts as Light?

I have finally narrowed my choices for reef lighting in my 75 gallon tank down to the Coralife 48" Lunar Aqualight 260 Watts. The site I want to order from is as follows http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=46314. I would like advice on the quality of this light. I don't want to spend this much money and have to go out and purchase another light. Again I want to have a basic live rock, basic corals, basic invertabrates, and fish reef tank. I want to know if this light will suite my tank with great quality lighting or not before I buy it.

That is exactly the set-up I have, and have been told that it should do ya just fine. If you'll want to get into the more hard-core corals and anemones, then you'll have to jump up to MH. But for us "basic" guys and gals, you should be in good shape.

P.S. I think that is a pretty good price, as well, from what I recall.

I also am currently using this fixture. It is great, very good quality and Coralife has a great reputation. Check my gallery for pics of some corals I currently keep wtih this light. It will be fine for most muchrooms, leathers, zoos, polyps and LPS corals. Also, check out www.captivereefs.com for this light. Darin is a sponsor and member of this fine site and his prices are some of the best.

i have that light and i love it...

check with darin at WWW.CAPTIVEREEFS.COM
he has a 6% discount for aquarium advice members... use the code AQUARIUMADVICE when you check out. his site is acting up at this moment, i cant get on, but i would give it a look later.

i dont remember if the price is much cheaper, but at least you have the warranty when you buy from a distributor and not from ebay...
