Coralife R0/DI autoshut off

so i bought a kit with the shut off and float valve....

but the auto shut off doesnt seem to turn off the flow when its full.... the waste water still runs.

in the specs it says "Pressure switch - shuts off water from source at 29 PSI"

does that mean if the pressure from the tap is more than 29PSI that it wont work? cuz currently i have it cranked all the way open

where have you put the shutoff valve,is before or after the filters

before the RO resin but after the carbon.......

thats how the instructions showed it

I would have thought it would go onto the supply water before the RO/DI unit to shut off total supply to the filter.I dont have a kit but I had a float and mag valve on the flow and it worked fine.Surely this kit should just mimic you turning the water off or on to make RO/DI water?
