CPR Overflow -- Bubbles -- Flow Rate

Hiya,

My CPR Overflow is collecting bubbles while in operation to the point where its flow rate is down to a minimum and the water level in the tank rises too high. There is a hose which is designed to maintain a venturi but I can not keep the flow rate or the bubbles out of the apparatus.

Is there any solution? Is any pump made which connects to a very small tube to create suction? Any ideas?
