Cracked Plastic

The plastic housing around the bottom of my new 55 gallon aquarium came cracked in one corner. I put some water in the tank to test for a leak, but didn't find one. If I use the aquarium, will a leak form in that corner due to lack of support?

I can't see a picture but as long as the glass and silicone are intact then it should be fine. The plastic trim is only there to protect the corners.

Agreed. I have removed plastic trims on numerous tanks without any problems....
