cutting plastic stripping for glass top

is there an easy way to cut plastic backing for a glass top? dont wanna break it.

I used a razor blade/utility knife to cut mine. I put it on the cardboard box it can in so I could cut all the way through. Made multiple passes instead of trying to cut all the way through on the first pass.

You can buy an "etcher" type thing at Lowes that ya score the plastic/plexiglass with several time and the the "glass" will snap apart evenly at that point.

I also use a utility knife. takes a bit, be careful...lol
