Damage rodi membranes?

Hooked my rodi unit up to a new faucet today and the water pressure was way higher. I knew it wad but I went ahead and let it run for a like 15 minutes, and I already had about a gallon or so out the clean side. It's only a 50gpd unit so obviously it was too high. I didn't have any leaks or anything. I was just wondering if it can damage the membranes that fast. Unfortunately I don't have a tds meter yet.

High pressure (within the range that you'd get from any residential faucet) will not harm the membrane at all. The weak link in the chain in terms of being able to withstand pressure is your clear housings.

You should have a pressure gauge on your system!
