Dehumidifier question

So, my question is. What is to stop you from putting your auto drain dehumidifier water drain right back into the aquarium. It shouldnt have any nutrients in it, would it have air born toxins in it or something

Realistically any airborne toxins, microbes would work ther way into your tank anyway. figure if de-humidified water's safe to drink, then it should ok for pwc's.
However, because it's nutrient poor, it won't replenish the minerals you get from tap. I do suppose it could make a good alternative to RO water ... This is assuming the dehumidifier is in good, clean working condition.

It's a saltwater tank. So it's ro water anyway. So potentially you could use it that way
