Deltec and/or H&S skimmers

I have been doing some reading about these skimmers and am reading some amazing things.....

Anyone have experience with them?

Are they worth the monster cost?

Have you seen someone swich from one of these to an ASM? They seem to be expenive needlewheel skimmers that seem to be all designed pretty much alike.. just an observation..

..and I thought my Euro-Reef skimmer was expensive until I saw that the most inexpensive Deltec at the LFS is $600. Yikes!

yeah, exactly, they're pricey alright. I have an ASM now and am really not unpleased with it. But from what I have read, the deltecs in particular blow the ASM away. Supposedly due to the "recirculating" aspect of it the dwell time is significantly increased and thus more efficient.
