DI Filter with refillable resin - Aquarium Advice

Does anyone use one or have experience with them. I have a standard [acronym:76e3cbfe0b="Deionization"]DI[/acronym:76e3cbfe0b] filter now but someone is trying to sell me the refillable model. Does it work as good etc?

Refilable [acronym:28806777cb="Deionization"]DI[/acronym:28806777cb] cartridges?

I have been filling my own cartridges with resin from AWI and the resin depot. Both have great resin.

AWI sells the refill kits also. Saves some money.
I went in on buy with a guy for 1 cubic yard of resin at the resin depot and it is some good stuff. A lot cheaper then buying them already filled, no need for the color change resin with a [acronym:28806777cb="Total Dissolved Solids"]TDS[/acronym:28806777cb] so you can save even more.

Yep, I have always used the refillable [acronym:adb78a8a1f="Deionization"]DI[/acronym:adb78a8a1f] cart.
