Difference between 14k and 20k

I have a light that has 14k Hali bulb I was wondering what difference I would see in my tank if I put a 20k bulb in it

14k is the kelvin rating. 14000 kelvin is a blueish/ white look. The 20k bulb will be even more blue. It usually is to give corals better color but slower growth.

No problem, I think 14k gives the best of both worlds

That's what was in it and when I went to order a new one I seen they had 20k for the same price that's why I wanted to know I think I will stick to the 14k. Thanks for the info
