Lighting fixtures, gu10 halogen, light bulb, lamp, fluorescent, incandescent, metal halide from Light Bulb Depot.
55W 3-6-10 Enhanced Daylight Compact Fluorescent Lamp - Lamps/Bulbs » Do-it-yourself aquarium lighting
The top is a "general lighting" type lamp from a supply store my employer does a lot of business with, and the bottom is a specialty aquarium bulb. Otherwise, they should be fairly comparable. Assuming I can "go get" the top bulb for a similar price as the bottom (because I buy from this supplier through my company's account with their consent, of course), and I acquired the bottom bulb as well, what differences would I notice (directly or indirectly) if I used one vs. the other on my tank?
