DIY CO2 Yeast-Based or Acid-Baking Soda?

Hi all,

I'm considering implementing a DIY CO2 generation system for a future planted aquarium. Question for you all: which one of these two systems would be the easiest and least fiddly one to implement over the long-term?

I've been considering one of these:

adapted to either yeast or acid-baking powder approach. These seems to come with everything you need.

Pros? Cons?

I wouldn't mess with either one of them... just build a reactor out of a pop bottle (which you would have to do anyway with these systems) and hook a hose to an airstone or bubble it into your hob filter.

I set up a diy co2 system with the 2 liter bottles. The one with 2 two liters is for my 30 gal tank and the 3 bottles is for my 60 gal tank. It only cost me about $10 to do. And only about $3 per month to keep up (sugar).
