Durso standpipe

Hey guys just a quick question if my drain is 1 1/2 at what rate should my return pump should be gph wise? Thanks

It depends.

What size sump is this?
How is the sump set up?
What kind of tank is this for?

Im looking into the eshopps rs-100 or aqueon model 2 havent decided how its gonna look but its going on an 70 gallon tall tank.

Whew! that's a bit overpriced. I would suggest going this route instead

I thought about trying a DIY but I feel like Im gonna mess up and do it wrong lol.. I guess I can always give it a shot.

There's really not much that can go wrong. It's just siliconing glass in place. I used an empty 10g with no baffles as a sump for over a year and it worked great.

I just spray painted my pvc pipes black semi gloss are they safe under water? If not I'll cleaned out before starting it
