Eclipse 6 Filter Fried I think :(

Hi, I recently got my used eclipse 6 from ebay. I was running it and on the FIRST NIGHT I think my motor fried The impeller thingy area is pretty clean (no sign of gunk), but the impeller isnt moving any more.

Well, firstlky I guess I should ask is it the motor? (I think it is) More info needed?

Secndly, what would be a good alternative filter to use in my tank? I guess I also have to make sure the damn thing fits coz of the hood and all.

Well, if it is fried you can get replacement parts.

Oh well. I prolly just get another filter. A sponge. The parts are expensive here in Australia. If it's like $30 in the US (I think that's what I saw it at, going to be like double here). He goes it was working before, but the unit hasn't been used for a while. Can't really say anything else I guess.
