Ecodrift (aquamedic)

Hey all, no time to explain why but I need to know if I can operate an ecodrift 4.0 (or 8.0) WaveMaker safely with a 12 volt power supply. It comes with a 24 volt but the manual says it can operate on 12 as well. Is it safe?

If the manual states it can accept 12-24vdc, then yes, your safe. It may not perform as well.

Yeah I thought it might not perform perfectly with the lower volt supply, I just didn't want the supply to overheat or something like that.

I don't think that will happen if it's rated at 12-24vdc.
