I'll be honest, I forgot all about the AI's. I don't truely know much about them, but I do believe I have read and had discussions about the AI Sol's being controlled by the Apex controller.

as far as I can tell, the sols need the wireless adapter to gain the benefits that the hydra and vega have. also the sols are 75w apiece compared to 95w for the vega/hydra. I also looked into kessil but im staying away from them only because kessils own site recommends I run 5-6 a350w fixtures on my tank. at roughly $350 a piece that's a no go. ive also ruled out the maxspect because I would need 2-27" models and I don't believe APex offers a specific module for maxspect at this point. so its really down to the Radions or the Hydras. theres roughly a $150-$175 difference in favor of the hydras. going to let it simmer for a bit until I get back from the fish store.
