eheim 2026 filer

anybody know how to set up a eheim 2026 filter. have a 55 gallon tank with pvc tubing made into a frame inside tank sits a inch off bottom and a sheet of plexiglas on top with holes drilled in it. now would the eheim filter intake go under the plexiglas and work well or not

well, i have a 2233 and it doesnt go in any specail tubing...just the intake hangs inside the tank, and then the return just at the water level...i suppose you could go under the plexiglass, but i dont think that would benefit anything. it is a caniter right?
if yes, jsut make sure you fill it with water before you turn it on.
