Eheim 2073 head height

Anyone know the head height of the Eheim 2073? My new tank will have about 40" from top of filter to top of aquarium. Do you think the filter will push it that far and what will the flow rate be?

That should be no problem at all for that filter. I have had smaller eheims at a greater head height than that. As far as flow rate, I think it is rated for around 270, but always take that with a grain of salt. Depending on what you put in the filter, how long it goes between cleaning, etc, the flow rate will vary greatly. A good rule of thumb is pretty much to take the rated tank size for a given filter and divide it by two. If you are close on that then it should be adequately sized. I would think the 2073 would be acceptable on a tank up to 55 gal.
