Eheim 2213 Question

I just installed an eheim 2213 on my tank. Its my first canister filter and I'm pretty sure i set it up right. My only question is I thought the filter media inside was supposed go move around when the water flows thru. It came pre packed. I didnt need to put any media in. The water is definitely flowing, but the balls inside aren't moving. Is that okay?

Yes, everything should be static. And as long as there's good water flow, the media isn't packed to tight.
