Eheim aquarium lighting

Hi. I have an eheim aquarium with a centre light bar . 2 tubes. It has started to flash on and off..and now not working ..do these lights have a starter.. I think it is a scubaline aquarium. As i have seen spares online. But they are over 100 pounds to replace the whole thing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Check to see if the bulb is seated in the fixture all the way. They slide in with the pins and turn to a point and are set. Sometimes the bulb gets bumped and loses proper contact.
