Eheim Pro III Canister Assistance

I just recently purchased the Eheim Pro III Canister Filter from Dr. F&S for my 110g. I am having considerable difficulty getting the filter to operate at all. Has anyone on the forum here operated one of these units? Maybe i am setting the unit up incorrectly; F&S tech support is no help at all.....

I use Fluval, does it have a priming or self priming function...sorry the Steelers are playing and I just hopped on....Do you know a guy named Chuck? He was from Medina....

It has a self-primer...just touch of a button and you're good to go from what I've read. I don't own one though (only Rena Filstars so far) so not a whole lot of help. Am quite envious though because that is a REALLY nice filter!
