Emperor 400 or 280

I have a 30 gal breeder tank. I plan on putting Cichlids in it and I was wondering if I should get an emperor 400 or 280. I already have one regent filter on it. I had a canister filter but I got rid of it. Thanks

I'd got with a 400 if you can afford it. The more filtration the better unless you are keeping certain types of fish. Chichlids are messy so get that extra filtration!
