eshopps WD100 wet/dry filter question

Hi, I have a eshopps wet/dry filter and I was wondering if anyone out there would know witch way the drip tray goes on? I been using it for three months now and it's so noisy I turn the drip tray around and it's very quiet now, but it looks like it might overflow. One side is shorter than the other.
Thanks Frank,
