Aquarium Advice Addict
Hi. Not sure if this question should be in the DIY section but anyway. I have the Aqueon Water Changer. I have pretty bad water pressure in my house. I take forever to do my PWC on my 55g and I waste a LOT of water in the process. The pressure is so low, it hardly lifts any debris off the sand substrate. Having read a few threads about this issue, I am considering a water pump to help with the pressure issue. I know you can get internal pump but I don't want extra equipment inside the tank. I was thinking could I fit an external water pump to the aqueon to increase the pressure-quicken the change. You guys(American) have different equipment/brands than me but any suggestions/advice/opinions or links would be very much appreciated....
PS...I have the aqueon connected properly, with a good seal. My issue is water pressure. I will still use the Aquoen to refill but just need a pump to remove...
