So I was cleaning my tank today and decided to try gently rubbing the rock to see if the purplish algae would come off easily. I wasn't able to get it off, seemed to be a hard layer. I was using a soft toothbrush.

Yep. Lol I think I'm the only one. Although it's nice knowing that it's growing, I hate when it grows on everything. The rocks are fine, but I hate it on powerheads, glass, etc.
