Filter for cichlid tank

I have a 40 gallon tank with an aquaclear 50, and an aqueon 10. I have 300 gph of filtration, and a 500 gph powerhead. I have 8 african cichlids. Im thinkin of getting an aquaclear70 and take out the aqueon filter.
If you have any expieriance with this filter can u tell me what u think about it? Thqnk you

Aquaclears are excellent filters. Very reliable, and economical to operate. No replacement media (filter cartridges) to buy. I might suggest getting the 110 instead of the 70. If you upgrade to a larger tank later you will have an adequate filter
