OK so since I have 2 Oscars and a convict in my 125 gallon, I'm thinking of getting another filter. Well i have 1 Aquaclear 110 and one Tetra Whisper filter for 70 gallon tanks. Then I have A sunsun 75 gallon canister. Now I'm thinking of replacing the 75 gallon canister i have now and getting a 175 gallon canister for only $160. Or I could replace my Tetra whisper 70 gallon filter and get another Aquaclear 110 for $100. So which one do you think I should get? Oh and the 175 gallon cansiter has a UV sterilizer built in too for only $160!

I made a wet dry with superb bio load and great filtration.

It cost the tank, some PVC, some Rubbermaid baskets and a Home Depot pump.

You could do it with a built in overflow or buy one.

If you'd like details, just let me know.
it's super easy, fun and highly effective!

The cat litter and dog food containers fit perfectly in the tank.
The are filled with a total of about 12 gallons of bio balls, blue floss in the baskets.
There is also 100 micron media in one basket.

Wow! Well I'd defintly have to try that some time! Seems easy enough with the pump.
