S the marineland 280 emperor better or the aquaclear 70

Ive had several marineland filters, but never that exact filter. I really like the aquaclears more. The filter basket is larger, and allows for more custimization. Also it seems to me that the aquaclears are quieter.

What size tank are you putting the filter on, and its a great filter.

Also would I need a aqua clear 110 or the 70 would the 110 just be overkill

Honesty, you can't over kill filtration (you can, but imho as long as your fish can swim its not to much) on my 56gal. I run two tetra ex wisper 70s.

The 110 may cause a whirl pool effect in the tabk since its a bowfront.
