Best filters that don't leak?

I'm one of the lucky Marineland C series owners (3 of them) that do nothing but leak now. Looking for a replacement and it seems every brand has some sort of leak issue when looking a reviews on Amazon. Is there any canister that NEVER leaks?

I swear by Eheim. They are high, but they have a great reputation. I have a pro series, but I know a lot of folks here use the classic and lie it.

The gasket around the head unit and the body. Tried the plumbers silicon on the most recent leaky unit per Marineland support but no luck. Have taken it apart & cleaned several times but no luck. Every review I look at Amazon for every canister seems to have some eventual leak issue.

Eheim actually recommends using Vaseline on their gaskets. It says it right in my eheim 2028 manual. I have used it on three different canisters in the past and will continue to do so. It has never caused an issue for me.
