I've got a penguin 350 on my 46g bow front. You'd be looking at 7x the filtration. Others will also suggest aquaclear but I have no experience with them. Are you wanting a hang on back filter or canister?

Don't have a canister so I can't fairly compare. But from what I hear they are quieter, cleaner appearence (no hob), and depending which canister you get, easy to maintain, but are more expensive. My penguin is quiet, unless the water level drops alil, then I just has a pretty soothing waterfall effect that isn't bad at all. Its also easy to maintain. Price is cheaper than a canister.

The girl at petsmart just talked smack about the marineland penguin and said once it breaks it all breaks. Sounded kind of weird how against it she was.

I run 2 AquaClear 110's on my 55. Tons of media options, space for buffers if needed, easy to clean, excellent flow

Lol, once it breaks it all breaks. Do they carry them? From the sounds of it id say no. Their not bad at all. And what's there to break? An impeller from sucking something up. That'd be about it. No messing with the biowheels, rinse cartridges when doing pwcs, till you do it enough time to where they are falling apart. Motors burn up in anything sooner or later but that's how things go.
