First tank build - am i missing something?

Hello.

My tank is a little one, custom built for a project - 390mm wide, 320mm tall and 160mm deep, so around 20L...give or take.

It will house one betta fish - on the guidance of this forum!

So far i have purchased:
- Coral ornament (180mm x 110mm x 130mm)
- Mini water filter (200 Litres Per Hour max - can be slowed to ~100)
- 50W nano heater
- Digital thermometer (and a back-up sticky one)
- LED lighting strips
- White aquarium gravel

Have i missed anything out? i know i havent considered testing kits, food, quite importantly fish...but they'll come once i've moved house next month so the fish aren't moved.

Hi, sounds like you are on top of it to me. The water testing kit (eg api master FW test kit) was my only suggestion but you have that covered.
