Fish crap on sand...

I have a 46 gal sand bottom aquarium with a 300 g canister.... Whats the best way to get the fish crap up? Has anyone used the battery powered siphon?

how big of a C.U.C you have ?

I don't have that issue

never tried a battery powered siphon so don't know how good they are

I have an Eheim it works well with top end batteries (lithium) and I find it really picks up the more I submerge it? You will find very mixed reviews on the Eheim it's quite expensive.

i just have a few power heads pointing in good direction for flow and circulation and that should do it...poop gets broken down

Im thinking I need to have a power head. I am going to keep rocks and such away from the glass so crap doesn't corner in one section. I am using a siphon regularly. I found the smaller siphon with a hand pump works better and quicker for me vs the large one I have.
