Fish tank stand.

I got a new 10 gallon fish tank stand from petco today!? I put it all together and the final step says to put the 4 soft stick on pads on the 4 corners of the stand. But I wondered how it would be a good thing. Wouldn't it put high and low points on the tank? Should I use them or not?

You can go ahead and use them. It won't hurt on a tank of that size.
