Hey guys,

I bought one of the 48" Fishneedit lights for my 55 gallon tank. Honestly, for the price it's perfect for my needs. Anyway, the legs are pretty much horrible. They just barly fit on the rim of my 55 and it doesn't sit down far enough for the screws to even be useful.

I've had it for around 2 months, so I don't think that it's going to fall. But, I would like to see if anyone has any suggestions about another way to put it on the tank. Hanging from the cieling is not an option.

Unfortunately, I had to hang my Fishneedit light. I wasn't comfortable with the legs at all.

I don't know if it changes anything, but; if the tank is close enough to the wall, you can get some large L-shaped brackets to mount behind the tank and suspend the light over it. That's what I did since I didn't want to hang it from the vaulted ceiling.

There's also this type of deal; Hanging Brackets.
