Hey guys and gals,
So, even though I know that the Fishneedit T5HO lights are on the bottom end of the spectrum as far as par, I still find myself with quite a few of their fixtures.
I've heard that the main problem with these lights is that the ballast just is not up to par. I have a 24" fixture that the ballast has poofed out on. Now it's got me thinking, why don't I just buy a better ballast and install it? In theory it should make it better?? No?
My problem is I have no idea which ballasts are good and which ones are crap. Does anyone know of a good ballast that I could buy and install. I'm no stranger to splicing and wiring up things and it looks like it would be a pretty simple and straight forward process.
