Fluval 305 on CL for 50$

Someone has a Fluval 304* on craiglist for 50$ in my area.

I know this is about half off new, if I was to get this filter, what should I look for? Think it's a bad idea to buy a used filter?

*whoops meant to type 304, it's late o.o
