Yeah I did say there are cheaper avenues but this is the one I've chosen after some was given to me as a gift. I love this stuff!

Really depends on your stock levels, feeding, type of stock. I have a fully stocked 55g community and i clean it about every 4 months. Some people clean it more or less often....
I done mine on Sat and it really wasn't dirty at all....
